The Monroe County Business Alliance

Our History

For years, the Monroe County Business Development Corporation and the Monroe County Chamber of Commerce discussed ways to collaborate more closely to improve efficiency and long-term sustainability. These talks also explored creating a unified hub for all business development efforts in the community.

In late 2020, a working group of executive leaders, local business stakeholders, and county officials formalized these discussions. Through strategic planning and shared vision, the Monroe County Business Alliance was born, officially launching on January 1, 2023, to provide unified support and foster innovation for the local business community.

Launch 734 is a no-cost resource center for small business development and entrepreneurship providing the tools, guidance, and connections needed to accelerate growth and achieve long-term success.
