Leadership Monroe

The Leadership Monroe program is designed to empower, educate, and equip people to serve our community through a dynamic program that is rooted in experiential learning, encouraging self-discovery, and fostering relationships through the monthly sessions. The LM program is a nationally recognized nine month program created to nurture and promote leadership within our community. 

Sessions are held the second Tuesday of every month (after opening retreat), October through May, during business hours in rotating locations around the county. To successfully complete the program, attendance is required at 80% of all schedule sessions with exception of the 48-hour mandatory Opening Retreat in September and the Closing Retreat in May (100%).

LM explores the core of our community with sessions focused on economic development, exploring our educational systems, health and human services, non-profit opportunities and visiting some key businesses both large and small throughout Monroe County.
